Which Booking Software Has Off-Peak and Peak Pricing?

Off-peak pricing charges less at the times you struggle to fill, and peak pricing charges more for the slots that sell out anyway. Bella Booking calls its version Smart pricing: you set a price rule by weekday and time window, choose the services and bundles it covers, and move the price up or down by a percentage or a fixed amount. When a client books online, the time slot shows the adjusted price beside the normal one, and the booked price stays on the appointment. Of the 15 platforms below, Fresha, Booksy, Zenoti and Treatwell also price a service by day and time as clients book. Six offer something narrower, such as a discount limited to set days that is applied at checkout or with a code. Every row was checked against the vendor's own website on 2 October 2026.

Bella Booking's off-peak and peak pricing

Included on the Professional plan and in the free trial; applies to online bookings

  • Off-peak or peak: lower the price at quiet times or raise it at busy ones, by a percentage or a fixed amount
  • Days and times: one or more time windows per weekday, always on or between two dates for a seasonal rule
  • Every service, or the services and bundles you pick; a bundle you name is priced once, as one item
  • Applied automatically when clients book online: the slot shows an Off-peak or Peak tag with the normal price struck through
  • The booked price is frozen on the appointment, so a reschedule or a change to the rule never moves it
  • Rules can't overlap, so every time a client can book has exactly one price
  • A promo code never stacks on an off-peak price: the client gets whichever is cheaper
  • Deposits are worked out from the adjusted price

Frequently asked questions

Which booking software has off-peak pricing?
Bella Booking, Fresha, Booksy, Zenoti and Treatwell price a service by day and time as clients book. Bella and Fresha raise or lower the price in time windows you set; Booksy pairs Happy Hours, which lower prices, with Premium Hours, which raise them; Zenoti raises prices in high-demand windows by day, time and holidays; Treatwell offers off-peak discounts only. Shortcuts, Square and Boulevard can limit a discount to certain days and times, applied at checkout or, for Boulevard online, with a code. Phorest sells a separate special offer limited to set days and times, and Vagaro discounts openings in the next 72 hours.
Can a client use a promo code on an off-peak price?
Yes, but never on top of the off-peak price. In Bella Booking a promo code and an off-peak price never stack: Bella prices the booking both ways and charges the cheaper total, so the client gets either the off-peak price or the normal price with the code taken off. If the off-peak price is cheaper, or the two are equal, the off-peak price stays, and a code with nothing else in the booking to discount is not used up. The cart tells the client which one applied. Fresha's help centre says a discount can be added only to a smart-priced service whose price went up. Treatwell applies the lowest price when several of its discounts apply, and Boulevard stacks offers to give the client the best price.
Does off-peak pricing apply to appointments my team books?
Not in Bella Booking. Price rules apply when clients book online, including pay-to-book bookings and clients who arrive from the Book button on Google. Appointments your team books in the dashboard, appointment series and bookings made through the API keep the normal price, and your team can still change a line's price by hand. Fresha's help centre describes the same online scope. Zenoti says its prices apply across its webstore, app, kiosk and front desk.
What happens to the price if the appointment is rescheduled or the rule changes?
In Bella Booking the booked price stays on the appointment. Rescheduling, moving it in the calendar, or editing, deactivating or deleting the rule never changes it, and in the dashboard the line shows Off-peak price or Peak price with the normal price beneath it, so nobody mistakes it for a pricing error. Fresha's help centre says the smart price on the original booking remains after a reschedule, and Treatwell says bookings already made at a discounted rate are not changed when a discount is turned off.
Do clients see when a price is higher at busy times?
In Bella Booking, yes. A slot inside a peak window carries a Peak tag with the adjusted price, and a service that only ever goes up shows "Peak price at busy times" on your booking page, so a peak time is always labelled. Booksy marks a premium slot with a "Premium time slot" note that explains the higher price. Fresha shows the increased price on the slot, and Zenoti says clients see the current price for the slot they choose.
Which plan includes Smart pricing?
Bella Booking includes Smart pricing on the Professional plan, and the free trial has it too. Booksy's help centre describes Premium Hours as completely free; Boulevard's offers are on its Premier, Prestige and Enterprise plans; and Vagaro's Fill My Books has no subscription but charges a fee on each booking it brings in: 20% for a new client and 5% for a returning one.
